Is it normal that i hate it when my nails are freshly cut?

One of the things I really really really hate is having to trim my nails short. My nails are thick and they're difficult to manage. I hate the sharp edges, and i hate having to file the sharp edges just so it doesn't wound me or something.
IIN? Do you feel the same way?

    Do you clip them after showering or bathing? That makes it easier if you have especially hard nails.

      Yes, I cut after bathing. But that essentially changes nothing to me. Me nails are stubborn as hell.
