Is it normal that i hate it when i have to say good morning/night back?

Whenever anyone says good morning or good night to me, I don't want to say anything back to them. In fact, it really annoys me that they say it and I HAVE to say something back. Now I hear it every morning and night because my dad's girlfriend moved in :P Am I weird?

    yeah morning for me is weird for some reason. i don't like to say it back most of the time.

    Haha normal. A jolly good morning yelled too early in the morning will be counted as a curse.
