Is it normal that i hate gays physically, not morally?

I mean, morally I don't mind them. But as soon as I see a gay couple doing anything tender (starting with holding hands and finishing with sex) I feel like I have to throw up right away, go have a shower and clean my eyes in order to unsee that. I basically find gays gross. White male 18 yrs old.

I am definetly not watching gays having sex, it is enough to think about it. Ye i know now ppl gonna say "I am secretly gay should embrace it and stuff like that" but believe me: I am not, that is certified :D

Judging by the content of your post, you don't "hate" gays. You simply don't find homosexual activity appealing; in other words you find it unappetizing. Plenty of gay people find straight sex nasty too.

    Look away, then?

Simple solution. You can't ask people not to show light PDAs just to make you feel comfortable, the world doesn't revolve around you and what you like.

And if you're against PDAs, at least don't have a double standard about it. Honestly, I'd want to look away if I saw any couple eating eachothers' faces, whatever line-up of genders they have between them.

i do look away: my question is why do i feel the disgust when thinking about them

Not liking the taste of a food and not liking poor hygiene is not the same as being so intolerant of gay people that them actually being gay around you makes you want to vomit.

Just get the fuck used to it.

i would say it is, i am not intolerant as i am not killing gay people: i just dont like them

        *applause*

You're not killing, well done, how humane of you.

There's layers of intolerance. Yes you might not be violent, and that's all well and good. However, if you're that disgusted that you're going to make a rant about it and go back and forth with people on the internet, you're being a little annoying to say the very least. I certainly think it's your problem and not ours ("ours" meaning us gays).

You seem just that bit too perversely interested in it tbh.

i think i just wrongly described the situation, i do not witness any gay sex and didn't mean to offend you my friend, but i just find it gross, rather my body finds it gross, just like it des with spinach, and as i am annoying you right now, buzz feed and huffington post are annoying me with the gay pride bullshit on snapchat shoving those things right in my face

But again, you don't have to see any of that. If you're on Huffington Post or Snapchat and you see something you don't agree with, you can be mature and keep scrolling. Nobody is shoving anything in your face, you're not being held at gun-point being forced to observe it.

You sound like this other post I just commented on, so I'll repeat a similar sentiment I said there...

You're having gayness "shoved in your face"? Welcome to the ENTIRE LIFE of a gay person. Nearly every day, we have to have the majority's straight ideals rammed down our throats, often very violently or threateningly, and then have people get upset and question why we're upset and why "gay pride" is a thing. It's disingenuous, not realizing the privilege you sit in being the majority and "normal" in society.

I will reply the same to you: nobody holds you on my post.
and welcome to the ENTIRE LIFE, where unfortunately you are a minority who does things that the majority finds nasty. This is very brutal, I feel your pain, but I think it's even more savage that the majority has to change for your own gay sake, and whoever doesn't accept you is demonised by gays, liberal and SJWs.

If seeing gay people hold hands makes you sick, that is an intolerance.

Oh and by the way, if you imagine gay people having sex just because you see them around, that is a problem with you, not them. The fact you go to the effort of ranting on the internet suggests you hold some latent sexuality and have been raised in a homophobic environment.

I mean, I am fully entitled to hate them or love them: just as I am entitled to love or hate spinach, love or hate a stinky person. That's basically it: gays are stinky spinachs for me.

In the wild, homosexuality doesn't exist. You being disturbed by the act is natural for your brain. It's how most human minds work

Fact check: homosexuality has been documented in every single species on Earth. That's not an exaggeration, either. Literally every single animal in existence today has been observed engaging in homosexual acts.

That happens to those animals who must not pass on their genes since they have a fault. Literally, gay animals are animals with bad genes. Might be same for humans

That's certainly an odd reaction. I don't think you're a bigot, but I don't think you're particularly normal either. The most likely possiblility is that you're subconsciously trained to be repulsed by gay activity. Was your family really against them when you were a kid?

    • fredted

no, not at all. I would presume homophobia in history has its roots from people like myself, who were not pressurised by society into gay acceptance, so they had nothing to loose when they hated them publicly.

      • CreamPuffs

That's probably it. A lot of holy books and scriptures speak of how terrible homosexuality is. Somebody must've hated them before then in order to put such into their beliefs in the first place.

The "white male 18 yrs old" at the end is rather redundant. That was pretty easy to tell from the rest of it. The age could vary, but there was no doubt this was a mayonnaise boy post.

If your the OP you said you saw them having sex which either means your hanging out at the wrong places or you need to change your porn viewing habits.

But whatever. I can't imagine why ppl doing something that has no effect on you at all is a problem. What exactly do you want done about this "problem"?

Why should they be shamed for doing what they want to do? If homosexuality was the norm would you want to be shamed for your feelings? And how does any of this affect you if you don't want to have gay sex then can't you just not do it?

I mean, its fine for them to have sex in their bedroom, but family is a social construct, not a sexual one. Therefore, I think gay marriage is something that changes the society to the worst.
