Completely normal. When i was like 13-15 i would sometimes feel like i started my period and run to the bathroom to see a bunch of clear discharge in my underwear.

As for how wet you got, that was probably due to how long you continued kissing. It's not like your vagina releases a little bit of lubrication at the start of sex and stops. Normally, women lubricate for as long as they are sexually aroused.
It's possible that where you are in your menstrual cycle also had some effect on how wet you got. Hormone levels vary through the cycle, and some women are much more easily aroused at certain points than they are at others.
