Is it normal that i got jealous when my girlfriend called a guy her model?

Second time I'm typing this. Goddamn page refreshes. Anyways,let's get to it. So my girlfriend's out of the country, she travelled with a club that's situated in different universities. Anyways, so today they were out for a hike. So naturally she sends pictures. Of her, of the scenery, of the people she's with, and I'm happy that she seems to be enjoying herself. However, after sending a certain picture, she texts "the guy is 'MY' model for my blog". I cannot emphasize how surprised I was at how much I lost my sh*t. I hadn't even thought much about her being with guys there, because I trust her and I believe that she can take care of herself. But man. That sentence. That freaking sentence. It sent me over the edge. So am I being an insecure prick? Or would anyone else get pissed at that...that infernal collection of words.

    That sounds like a joke on her part: surely if she were playing up with someone else she wouldn't have sent it to you?

      I don't think she's playing up. I just think she didn't really wonder twice about how that statement sounds. Hmm.
      I should go find a model and see what she thinks, haha

    Sounds innocent. It's not odd for a blog to feature someone who brings more insight to the subject she's writing about.

    Maybe you're jealous that you think she may find this guy more fascinating than you, or something relating to low self-esteem or lack of trust.

      Yes. Definite yes. I have some self esteem issues to work out. And I wouldn't be surprised if they factored in to our breaking up either directly or indirectly. I do want to change but it's hard. Hard in the sense of, I can't really...deal with not being needed? Like when she enjoys herself and doesn't seem to miss me all that much. Damn do I sound like a needy sap, haha.
