Is it normal that i get really sad that i can't hug fictional characters?

Sometimes I feel really awful, to the point of crying because I can't hug some fictional characters, like Draco Malfoy and Holden Caulfield. Simple as that, really, but it's so absurdly unfair that I can sympathize with fictional people but can do nothing about it! Yeah, I know they don't exist and everything, but that's quite irrelevant, really. If someone made them up they sort of do exist, I guess they just lack a body to be hugged.
