Is it normal that i get jealous at every girl who talks to the guy i like?

Well? Do you? Think it's completely normal that on some days I like him, and some days I clearly don't?! But here's the annoying part. When ever I see him talking to a girl, I get all jealous inside and feel weird. I know he isn't mine and I shouldn't be feeling this way, but I just want to have a good friend relationship with him. I don't want to lose my guy friend. But I want to stop getting jealous at little things! Any advice?

    Your jealousy is surely the fastest way to destroy your friendship with this guy. Not other girl will have to do anything, except exist.

      well i don't really show my jealously, i keep it inside. and i dont just sometimes feel jealous i feel sad that he doesn't want to talk to me sometimes.

    Your personal opinion that most girls are attractive and most guys aren't is fine, but I wouldn't try to pass it off as anything more than what it is: personal opinion. It seems more likely to me that your opinion is caused by jealousy of other women (you're jealous of them, so you perceive them as more attractive than everyone else does), not the other way around. Even besides that, it's pretty damn superficial. People (guys and girls) aren't mindless drones who only feel attracted to the prettiest person who talks to them. Personality is also a thing, and in a relationship worth being envious of it's a million times more important than looks.

    Besides that, I completely agree with you that you should walk away from situations that don't make you happy.

    I honestly don't understand why people do this. I could never get upset at my bf talking to other girls. I know he messages other girls. I know he is friends with other girls. I know one of his best friends is a girl. So what? I don't own him and I have no right to try and control him. Most importantly, I trust him and I know he's not a prick.

    I think if you respect someone, friend or bf/gf, you don't allow jealousy to run rampant. I guess it's maybe normal to feel a twinge of jealousy now and then, but I honestly can't say it's something I experience.

    I'll admit I can be a jealous bitch. Its gets pretty bad. I hate it when my bf talks to, texts, and especially hangs out with other girls unless I know them, and then I am only minorly suspicious. It sucks because I can't control it very well...bleeeh...

    but that's with my boyfriend. I dont feel very jealous if it is a guy I am crushing on unless it is a hard core crush.
