Is it normal that i find supporting abortion only in "rape" cases hypocritical?
It seems to me that every conversation about abortion eventually ends up in the analysis of people that get pregnant after rape. Personally, I don't think that a rape situation brings anything into the argument, and that people that support abortion only in these cases are hypocrites.
I see the abortion controversy issue like this: people that belief that the embryo/fetus is a complete human and that deserves the same rights as a person, against people that think that the well-being or interests of the mother/parents are more important.
So, I feel like if you believe that an abortion is killing a human being, then the exception for raping cases makes no sense. As far as I am concerned, it is not correct to kill people related to rapists in any legislation. So, I think that people that say this, should just support abortion in all the cases then, since the raping issue is within the "unwanted pregnancy" thing. Additionally, I don't believe that it is correct to hold a grudge on a being that has not done anything bad to you.
Personally, I support abortions 100%, but I respect people that do not and I really try to understand their point. I just cannot understand the ones that make the exception for rape. So, anyway, what do you think guys?
