Ever since I saw him interviewed on TV, I've felt a great deal of sympathy for Jeffrey Dahmer - he just seemed so sad and lovable. I know he's a serial killer who killed and ate 17 people, but I just can't help but like the guy. Is this normal? Do you feel the same way about any serial killers? I also kinda like Elliot Rodger, too, so...
The man was not fit to live amongst human beings. I don't get women who fall for these psychotic shitheads. You are not in your right mind. And neither is anyone else who idolizes those psychotic dickshits.
The last interview he did seems to garner sympathy from a lot of people, especially women. It's strange because he wasn't a victim of society so to speak, a middle class child from a relatively good upbringing who just became completely obsessed with killing. His alcoholism was an obvious catalyst that pushed him to carry out his violent fantasies. I think he hated himself and what he did which was one of the reasons he didn't resist when he was bludgeoned to death, in his own mind he probably accepted it as punishment. It was a sad end to his life, almost pointless as I don't think he was a danger to anyone anymore.

It's Human to feel sorry for some killers, like I feel sorry for James Holmes, he was a genuinely nice, intelligent young man with a bright future and was let down by the the Mental Health system.
I don't know, dude. There are dozens of people that feel this way about Dalhmer, legitimately. Could be a troll but the way it is doesn't differ from how others that really do feel sympathy for him feel.
In a sense I can see where they're coming from, he was a troubled and disturbed person. He did kill people, though, and that's the initial thing people should emotionally respond to.
