Is it normal that i feel more productive and cheerful when i smoke?

I've noticed that most times, weed gets me thinking in a positive light.
It also makes me more optimist, like I realize I've been overthinking and then when I smoke it all kind of clears away. I'm normally overthinking stuff and have a bit of anxiety, I'm usually afraid of trying new things, etc.
And also makes me more creative or at least more secure about my ideas, it makes me want to draw and sing do stuff I've kind of abandoned, but made me happy.

It makes me wonder if it would be ok to smoke more often, like say 5 times a week or so. Specially to smoke and then use that time to draw, write, sing, whatever. To take advantage of how it makes me feel productive.

Do it up as long as its not interfering with other priorities. I try to always have something planned to do after I smoke, otherwise it feels like a waste. I'm glad it has positive effects for you. For some, it induces anxiety.

Ain't the LIES we tell ourselves to justify smoking incredible?

    • If I really wanted to lie to myself I would just smoke and believe anything. I'm asking for a reason, I'm searching for real information and also for opinions (which I should the verifiy, of course).

So have you any well informed advice to give me?
      It'd be much appreciated. :)

The only advice I have for you is to quit smoking this very instant. No matter how much good you think it may be doing for you, it is doing a thousand times more harm.
Every time you inhale you are taking in some very deadly chemicals, not the least of which is formaldehyde. Read up about it, it's some pretty nasty shit!

        • How mean weed? All that harmfulness sounds more like cigarrettes.

Oops. I guess my present battle with the dreaded, evil tobacco has colored my view of the word 'smoking'. Sorry!

People might hate this, but fuckit; if you do smoke weed 5 times a week - (and I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, I used to smoke every day) - just be aware that you're forming a bit of a habit that you might struggle to give up, if you ever need to. It can be a bit shitty.

Also, I wouldn't recommend it if your brain is still developing.

But all unwanted advice aside (what am I your dad? jeeziz), good for you. I get that it helps creatively. I just find with most drugs, that creativity wears off pretty quickly when you use it all the time.
But good for you; normal; totally fine as long as you're a responsible adult.
(I sound like an old grandpa, I'm sorry)

    • Don't worry, that's exactly what I wanted: mature objective advice.

      I'm an adult, I'm nearly 30, so I guess there's no problem.
I'll also make sure it doesn't interfere with work
But I must say I've noticed that the effect becomes milder and then after leaving it for a week then the effect is better again (maybe that'd be a god measure, instead of starting to smoke more, and more and more, which would be harmful i think)

Ah ok, cool. That's definitely true about the tolerance. I used to find after smoking a few days and then stopping, I kind of appreciated being 'straight/sober' again; like that had novelty value almost, as lame as that sounds.
But yeah, if you could do it once every 3-4 days, I think that would be ideal as far as not developing a tolerance. But maybe it's just good to stop for a week or two every once in a while, just so you know you can.

    • Sorry: weed.

I'm so used to the idea nothing good comes from tobacco and nicotine that I didn't even mention it, you are right.
