Is it normal that i feel like trump 2020 is going to be a thing

I'm no Trump supporter, at all, but something in my blood tells me that he's going to beat Biden in the 2020 presidential election by an even bigger margin than he beat Clinton by in 2016. He might even win the popular vote!

I can't help but feel that the vast majority of the US is even more pissed off with how they continue to be treated by the elitists than they were back then. It's like the DNC hasn't learned a thing. You don't win an election just by bashing the other candidate. You defeat them with actual policies (which for the past 4 years I don't think I've heard a single one of from the American left).

I hope I'm wrong, but I want to strangle the DNC for not getting their shit together and I'm not even American!

  • From what I've noticed about politics ever since I've paid attention since the virus, the right (Mitch McConnell) plays dumb to avoid doing what they don't want to do and is aggressive, petty, and sneaky to get what they want

The left tries to be too fair as far as bill writing and getting what they want, I mean there's not much they can do about it when Republicans run the Senate, democrats just have an easier time getting their bills vetoed by the Senate after the house passes it than the Republicans do getting a bill past the house

I can totally see why George Washington warned against political parties, it's more like a social game of who has most knowledge on group psychology than doing things that are good for the country

If you could win just by having logical policies and decent points, Don Blankenship would win, but we all know that's not going to happen.

I agree your politics are really screwed up and going to get worse. Biden will win a corrupt election that the winner will be determined by courts or Congress. The American people will be the real losers. I would not be surprised to see the US go through another civil war or divide in to two states. Free and socialized states. The vast media sites which include TV, internet, Hollywood, papers and mags, everything is tilted mostly against christians and conservative values. The last time the media was used as this much of a propaganda machine was during WWII. Most people can't name anything Trump has done good, yet, he has peace agreements and accomplishments that haven't been done in 50 years or more. You just won't hear about them or it will be a one liner on the news for one day. Good luck and God Bless, USA you're going to need it. Just for pointers wasn't it the Democrats the harped and cryed about Reagans an McCains age, and said they were too old. Wasn't it the Dems that wanted or pushed the mental capacity test on Trump and now age is no factor and mental testing is just BS from Trump. Open your eyes US before it's too late. I can tell you from my point of view if establishment politicians are for it, I'm against it, and if they're against it and it's rocking their boat I'm all for it.

"You don't win an election just by bashing the other candidate. You defeat them with actual policies."

A sensible assertion, but what exactly is the Republican platform? At their most recent convention, this is what was passed: "That the 2020 Republican National Convention will adjourn without adopting a new platform until the 2024 Republican National Convention."

Logically, that says that the platform is the same as the one passed in 2016. And I guess that's fine, since it's not as if a single thing has changed over the last four years, is it?

The reality is that what the Republicans agreed is that their official platform will be whatever Trump decrees will be their policy. Which I guess is also fine, if you have an autocratic mindset and you like the idea of a monarch in the White House. What makes it somewhat difficult in practical terms is the fact that Trump's policies are whatever he feels should be his policies after he's watched Hannity, Tucker and Ingraham ranting about whatever particular bug has crawled up their ass in the last twenty-four hours.

  • Realistically I think it will be more beneficial for Trump to win, infact I think it'll be more beneficial for the Republicans to continue to win until the Democrats stop bowing down to these insane leftists.

I never realized how, for lack of a better word, evil the democrats were until Trump, Covid, and these riots started but now it's impossible to not see.

    • I agree. It seems the Democrats are acting like spoilt brats and just spewing venom, while the Republicans are just calmly going about their business.

Trump can literally breathe and far-left liberals act as if he took a shit in their sister's makeup bag.

      • That goes not just for within the USA, but the world over.
