It doesn't mean you are sexually attracted to your dad a la Electra complex which others have implied. When parents talk about the looks of others it can make their kids feel uneasy. If your dad (or mom) thinks a girl is beautiful, you might measure yourself up to her and feel like you are not beautiful. You might subconsciously think that your dad would rather have her as a daughter. This is all irrational of course, but I can see how you could think this. It's just a result of living in a shallow society.
I hated it when my dad boasted about women who flirted with him, it's awkward. My mom would put him in a grave if she heard
As a 54 year old lady I would say that it's probably that he's feeling old and a little 'past it' His boasting is must likely a sign of insecurity but its not really appropriate especially when he's married to your Mum.
Try to be patient with him he could be feeling jealous that you are a young free and single (I don't know how old you are)
Say something like I bet mum still fancies you too! Boost him up; but in a different way; find his other strengths and don't feed into this fantasy.......Which is what this is.
Do you fear he might stray?? You need to tell him gently if you do.
Hope that helps Meanwhile try not to worry lots of older men feel this way........Its kind of good that he tells you: I think he's trying; rather clumsily to open up to you.

He doesn't boast, he just sometimes comments on women he sees on TV.And he isn't married to my mom and he never was.He is married to another woman and I WISH he strayed.I just feel bad if he says that a woman is attractive and I immediately start comparing myself to her.I have the same feelings towards any other man looking at someone else though.
