Is it normal that i feel isolated around white people because i'm not white?
I grew up in a poor, immigrant neighborhood of New York City, but I recently moved to an all-white area across the country. I have a hard time feeling like I "fit in" with white people because we had such radically different upbringings. Is it normal that I never feel comfortable around white people and think they have had easier lives because they did not deal with overt racism throughout their life?
