Is it normal that i feel awkward hugging my family members?

I guess i only like to show affection for friends or significant others. But family just feels weird. I still do it but it feels uncomfortable

    I feel awkward hugging hobos, roadkill and other naked men in locker rooms but I do it anyway.

    Family members? I feel awkward to hug all people. Except my gf ofcourse. But yea its more awkward to hug my family members as most are guys :p
