Is it normal that I fall in love (lust?) really hard with guys who are often my best friend's, and than once we've been together for a bit I get bored with the relationship and want something/someone else? I feel like I can't connect at that level emotionally for too long and if I do for a while, I never really trust them entirely either. Feel like a sociopath a little...

    I don't think sociopaths can connect at all, unless it is purely for sex with no emotion at all, which you don't explain to be the case.

    Personally, I would say to make sure you tell people this that you gain that small interest with, as it is not fair for them.

    Yes, you and I are quite normal. I wouldn't say the men are boring - some are far from it and I go back to them now and then - it's just that I always want someone different after a day or so. I get immense satisfaction that way. I'm happy, I'll slowly settle down I expect.

    I've been this way with every guy I've dated except one, so there is hope. You're probably just figuring out what you want/need in a relationship. Totally normal, don't tie yourself down just to meet society's expectations. You can't fall in love with everyone, don't ya know?
