Sometimes I'll dress myself down so that jealous or just petty people loitering in front of shop with that weird angry looking smile won't feel the need to comment or try to bring me down. This is also why I haven't pursued lolita fashion yet. It takes not caring what people say.

I really understand I spent most of my teen years trying so so so hard to please ppl and all I ever got for it was misery. I put on a happy face no matter what becos thats who I was suppose to be - that perky cheerleader girl. But I'd go home and sit by myself in my room and try to think of reasons I should kill myself I was that unhappy. And the sad and ironic part... the best reason I could think of not to do it was that it would disappoint my parents. Not becos I was gone but that its hard to get blood out of carpet. It took finishing school and moving far far away to go to college before I even started to figure out who I was and what I wanted to be becos I'd spent so much time trying to please them and others that I really didn't even know there was a me that was missing out on what I wanted. Your way ahead of where I was you know what you want you just need to find a way to start doing it. And I know you can! :)
