Is it normal that i dont care about sex ...at all?

Im a 32 year old female. Ive never had a high sex drive but I used to have a lot of sex to please my partners. I never got anything out of it and the older I get the less I care to fake the interest. I never have orgasms during sex. Im perfectly content masturbating alone once in a while. I find that having sex involving another person is annoying and messy and Id rather just avoid it and please myself. Anybody else feel this way, like having sex with another person isn't worth the effort?

Neither do I and nor have I ever. Its probably due to me being asexual.

My biggest problem is, I feel that Id be extremely self conscious for even trying to enjoy it.
Im sure most men don't have this disinterest, its probably mostly women who fake being interested in sex.
    Or am I wrong?

There is so much that is better than sex. Closeness and touching. Masturbation is really great because you never have to worry how the other will act after sex. There are no bad after effects. Also one can control an orgasm so much better during masturbation. I can massage until my orgasm is close then slow a little and keep the feeling. I can massage a little to get it going more intensely and finally I can have a beautiful orgasm. I cannot cause a pregnancy or spread STD's. It is a wonderful experience and I love to help a friend to have a nice orgasm much more than to just have sex.

FUK all those judgmental asses. Any ways, I'm not sure you mentioned if you have tried to enjoy it, or just know how to make it enjoyable for men. I would say try to do it for you. Even though you may find it frustrating at first, it's almost like you're a virgin again, not sure what to do to enjoy it. I have had sex with my partner and didn't care whether or not I enjoyed it, but it didn't make me happy. And I thought that if I didn't mind getting off, then I wouldn't get disappointed if I didn't.

Any man you are with that cares about you is going to want you to enjoy it, so help him to try even if he doesn't get it at first. I suggest you talk to your partner about it and don't stop trying. There is no way a man can get me off alone, believe me, he and I have tried. So I do my own part, I'll stimulate the clit when he penetrates, even though I was really self-conscious about doing this at first. Be more in tune with your body when your having sex than with his, cause men are really in tune to their bodies while having sex, so you should be too. You are not their for a mans pleasure, you are both their for each others pleasure.

    I hope that helps:)

That makes sense--men dont seem self-conscious about what they do during sex that works for them. Maybe adding some kind of toy would help. I wonder if men think that they are 'not god enough" if Id suggest adding a toy Its really not them its me. Thanks for the advice.

Without trying to be condescending, I really am sorry you've missed out on one of the greatest pleasures in life. How very, very sad.
