Ok so i feel weird that i dont care about animals lifes and it does not matter to me at all cuz they have no significant relation to me. Cats dogs any pets are fine but im ok with eating meat and dont care if they get tortured or killed is that normal or am i a heartless cunt that deserves to die? Pls tell me im not the only one...
I don't like animals being tortured, subjected to unnecessary cruelty or being killed for stupid pointless reasons like "sport", "fashion", or outdated religious customs.
On the other hand though I couldn't be a vegetarian. I don't like when vegetarians get all holier-than-thou about not eating meat, like it makes them so eco-friendly. If you're a living human, you harm animals just by existing and living a 21st Century life. You live in a house, you drive a car, you consume resources that we have to destroy animal environments to receive and use. You're still responsible for that even if you're a full-blown vegan.
Humans don't exist in a vacuum, we're part of a network and food chain of animals. Some would eat us as food, and they don't hesitate. We have evolved as a species to eat meat in our diets, it's healthy for us (in moderation anyway). I do certainly think we should be eating LESS meat and not be farming animals so intensively though.
I'm sure alot of others feel like you do. I'm not 1 of them but whatever.
I feel the same, I only value animals for what use they are to humans, just like a tool. I see no importance in them beyond their usefulness to us.
I feel exactly the same way about humans. If they aren't useful to me in some way I see no purpose in their existence. I have no feelings at all towards the human race in general. If I was drivig a car and saw a human and an animal on the road and could only avoid one of them, I would choose to run over the human every time. I would feel no guilt at all over killing a human, whereas killing an animal, even accidentally, would haunt me for the rest of my life. People, in general, are scum.
same, i don't really particularly care for a certain animal, humans, and only use them if they prove beneficial to me, otherwise i'd probably just leave them to rot. their actually quite fun to cut up into tiny pieces too. i like to carve smily faces on their chests with a butcher knife.
Well, I'm glad you're honest about your feelings, but don't be surprised if others, especially animal lovers, are hostile and unshy admitting that they prefer animals, even random animals with whom they're not acquainted, to yourself and others like you. You have your feelings and beliefs about animals with which I and many like myself most certainly disagree so if you want to get along peacefully with animal people then whatever you do don't try to get others to see your point of view and especially don't try to convert others to your beliefs system. I don't hate non animal people, but as far as friends go at best there's only so close I can get to such people and at worst it's a straight up deal breaker!
When I was single I could meet a man who had all the traits I was looking for, but if he was a non animal lover it would, of course, be a deal breaker for obvious, at least to me and my kind, reasons. My cat sleeps in the bed every night with my man and I. I've literally met a potential suitor, and been completely turned off when I discovered he was a non animal lover.
I had a potentially very good female friend when turned out to be a non animal lover, and it was so off putting to me. I also found her to be a bit of a selfish drama queen who was way too codependent for my taste. When I find out that someone isn't into animals or flat out doesn't like them it's such a big thing that we can't share, it's nearly insurmountable for friends and most certainly insurmountable for a romantic partner.

Yeah it is really sad, but I get what you are trying to say. Whatever we do people will always torture, slaughter animals because they are a really important food resource for us.

Quick note: i dont like torturing them i just dont care if they are tortured for us to eat them as long as im not the cause of it but whoever tortured them is.
Quick note: I had an argument with a vegan the other day and they pulled out the "do you care about the animals being tortured" card which blew me off. I said no anyways and i got called a dick for it.
I eat meat because I need energy and nutrients from meat to survive. There's nothing wrong about consuming meat. Just one thing - Respect your food.
It's totally normal not to care as long as you yourself aren't being cruel to animals. I don't like it when animals are tortured. There is no point in wanton cruelty. I wouldn't want to be with someone who are cruel to animals unnecessarily.
But at the same time I don't care for them as much. I like dogs. My father had two dogs and I loved them both. Maybe I will have one myself someday. But that's it. In fact I don't like people who are too obsessed with their pets, especially cats. I can't stand cat ladies. It's a deal breaker.
So no, not caring about animals is normal as long as you yourself are not being cruel to them.
