Is it normal that i don't wear collared shirts and jeans around the house?

In every movie or TV show you watch, whenever people are hanging out in a living room or a kitchen, they're always dressed up like they're going out. Even if it's just a couple - the boyfriend and girlfriend that cozy up on the couch for movie time with popcorn - yet they're dressed up like they're hitting the town.

Am I the only person that walks around in casual clothes, sweatpants, loose fitting shirts, or no shirt at all around the house? Who actually enjoys sitting on a couch in jeans and a dress shirt if they're the only ones at home? Why are "normal" people so damn stylish all the time?

    I don't remember his name cause I've only seen a couple epsoides. But from what I've seen, the older kid on The Middle seems to be wearing boxers at all times. Guess he didn't get the memo.

    that is just for tv. they're actors so they need to look their best in front of the camera. normal people don't look like that all the time of course.

    Do you have cameras, a film crew, a producer or two and a director hanging out in your house?
    Well, whatever you see on TV has all these people and more hanging around, so of course everyone is nicely dressed.
    Really, you could have figured this out for yourself, if you'd just thought about it a minute or two, I'm sure.
