Is it normal that i don't want to start dating until i'm rich?
I think the old saying "Men are attracted to women's looks, women are attracted to men's money" has a lot of truth to it. Now, I'm reluctant to approach girls because I'm average-looking, middle-class, and don't have any confidence to speak of, so what's the appeal? I'd just get rejected, so that's why I don't do it. Now, I know it's extremely unlikely that I'll ever become a billionaire, but I think I could realistically become a millionaire (at least a low-level one) if I was ambitious, worked hard enough, and/or was lucky. Obviously, my chances of getting a girlfriend will greatly increase once I'm a millionaire and I'll get to choose from more high-quality women rather than women who are at my level right now. That's why I don't even wanna think about dating until I've made my first million. Is any of this normal? Have any of you ever had similar thoughts?
