Is it normal that i don't understand why anal sex can be considered degrading?

I don't really understand why some people (and I've heard this from both men and women) think that anal sex is degrading. I don't get it. Is it because it's where your poop comes from? Men pee out of their dicks, and I don't see anyone saying that people giving head to men is degrading... or at least complaining the way they do about anal sex.

For me, I don't see a problem with it. To me, it's just another hole in the body for guys to stick their dicks into-- only it's tighter and doesn't look as comfortable (At least, for me it doesn't look comfortable, but who am I to judge? I can think of a whole lot more sexual acts that can be considered degrading. But if both partners enjoy it, then so what?)

And if you do consider it degrading... maybe you can share a reason why? So far I haven't seen any decent answers to why some people think it's degrading.

    These days "degrading" is a euphemism for "I don't like it and don't think you should like it either."

      Just because they don't feel when filming pornography/bukkake doesn't mean it isn't. Well if the anus-owner would rather not but does it anyway than it is.

        No. That's just called "regret".

        Regretting a decision, or changing minds afterwards does not nullify the fact that full adult consent was given.

    For that matter people sumtimes puke out of their mouths. I don't get it either. People wash right. I get having a hang up but feel people should recognize it as their hang up not campaign against a sex act. Lol

    People will make up reasons to make anything others do seem bad or degrading, it is just a matter of personal preference and opinion. I don't really think anal is degrading. If you really think about it, the act of sex in general could be argued as degrading if you want to get all mad about it. I could care less what people do in their privacy.
