They are just brain washed by the media. you are still black no matter what they say. being into hoe, money, drugs and being a ghetto gangster has nothing to do with being black. Not all rap music is about that stuff anyway, just the mainstream rap is

Of course; I don't get it myself. I know of black people who pretty much force themselves/fake liking hip hop. I'm black and am into pretty much everything from brutal death metal to bright Japanese pop! Believe it or not, I always see plenty black guys at the hardcore/metal shows that I frequently go to, and they're the ones in the mosh pits. =P

There should be more (black) people like you. I hate it when a car goes by my house and makes the windows rattle. I just want to shoot their tires out!

Not everyone likes Rap, it's a personal choice, just because your from one race doesn't mean you have to like things that are associated with it! For example Just because someone is Jamaican doesn't mean they like reggae! :)

One of my friends is black and he is a heavy metal person.

There is a lot of Hip Hop that doesn't get played on MTV that actually has intelligent lyrics, means something, took effort and genuine talent to produce, express emotions just as deep and honest as any song by the bands you mentioned.

It's fine you don't like Hip Hop, who cares? Listen to what makes you happy.
