Is it normal that i don't have the urge to cyber-stalk my crush?

I have a crush on this guy from other university that I met during an IT event a while ago. The event lasted a few days and we spoke everyday. I mainly liked him because I find him cute, smart, funny, and really friendly. After the event we became facebook friends and that's it, we don't talk anymore. I don't feel like I want to stalk him on facebook or something. I just don't want to.

I think I am reading anywhere how people are obsessively stalking their crushes like there's no tomorrow and here I am just chilled about it. I guess part of me reminds me that there's so little chance we can meet again in the future, so I just think it's useless anyway.
