Do not misunderstand me,I do find the society's portrayal of the 'hot' woman attractive. However, not as attractive as some people claim... I prefer women who are within the region of 'normal to a little chubby' in regard to weight. I found out through a survey using a sample of 65 males to obtain data concerning personal preferences when choosing a mate/girlfriend. Only 5% of the males chosen for the survey liked females who were 'normal to a little chubby' in terms of weight. Is it really normal to like chubby women?

    I guess you're more into the classic kind of female beauty. In the past chubby women were considered beautiful by society's standard because they had more curves and were voluptuous, as opposed to females nowadays who seem to enjoy throwing their femininity out the window.
    You see all these crossfit chicks who resemble men more than women. They don't even have hips anymore. They are sporting the terminator look which seems to be the rage nowadays in women... Pretty sad if you asked me. Not to mention they're covered in tattoos from head to toe. It's really ridiculous because when these "women" try to put dressed on, they end up looking like transvestites.

      I really do not understand why it is ''pretty sad'' if a women chose to be fit and less curvy because it makes her happier. This look is not for me, but what's the obligation to fit in any mold society chose for us. Beauty is a point of view.

      I don't get how we get to decide who has femininity and who doesn't. Just because women change their appearance or body tone does not mean they are less feminine. I prefer a certain look in women myself that isn't the stereotypical view of female beauty in the media but that doesn't mean that women are all of a sudden less feminine just because "I" don't prefer the new look women go for nowadays.

    Most normal, healthy, young straight guys are gonna stick it to whoever is available, when they feel the urge (or have enough to drink). Perhaps the esthetics will enter into it more when it comes to choosing a mate, but I have found that to be a pretty poor basis for choosing a mate.
    Both my former wives were exactly my type and that is why we got together. Then I got to know them and fell in love, but that was way after being in lust.
    This wife is as far from my type as a woman could possibly be. I'm sure (actually, I KNOW) I was not the type of person she envisioned falling in love with either.
    We got together because we liked each other and enjoyed each other's company. I'm no horny 19 year old; I wasn't searching for some piece of ass; I wanted a companion, someone to sail with.
    I got exactly what I was searching for, in spades; the sex is just a bonus. It shouldn't be all about the outside.

    I thought it would be more common than 5%, i guess it depends where the survey was taken... and same goes for guys really, "10/10" according to what's generally accepted as attractive (ie. model-looking guys with perfectly sculpted physique) is not for all women, even if the majority (I'm not sure about that, would again depend where the survey was taken)

    Because they have no fuckin' taste.
    Look at women like Nikki Minaj. Prime example of women trying to be attractive like attractiveness is nailed down onto a formula: tiny waist, big rounds boobs, big round butt, long legs etc. It's like how Nissan tries to make their Altimas look like BMWs. Everything is there but something real, actual substance.

    All figures are attractive to someone, I guess, but the mainstream version of beauty is so unrealistic that I think it actually hinders our ability to open our minds to see what other beauty lays out there...
