I really didn't know! I thought all adult blonde hair was real when none of it is! I feel lied to and betrayed. Freaky!
most is probably fake but not all, there are some adults with natural blonde hair.
You were wrong to start off with and you're still wrong! Some adult blondes are genuine and some are not, just like adult readheads and brunettes.

Just want to say that they are all fake! Blonde is really light brown. That is why I am so amazed. Even in Sweden. I have been there. No real blondes.
It matters because it is a lie to such a point that people like you believe blonde hair is real on adults!

Real blondes (not the dirtyblonde/whatchamahcallit/light brown with blonde streaks kind) that stay that way into adulthood are tough to come by these days.
How old are you? If you are under 18, it will darken to light brown soon. It is nuts.
Depends are you a girl who constantlt gets her hair done in salons. Then yes you should have known. But I wouldnt think most guys would think about it.
It's no picnic having to keep up on the bleach job. I was blonde as a kid but it got darker and darker as I got older. The color that grows in does not suit me one bit. Therefore I will continue to bleach the roots every month or two. Ok?!?!
Women and men who had blonde hair as children have at most light brown hair now. It is interesting there may be a "slight" difference in melanin levels between sexes, but the fact is the blonde as we know it doesn't exist! I am truly amazed. It is crazy.

Check into it! Light brown with lighter highlights in the sun is actually natural blonde on adults. If they swim in chlorine that may lighten it.
Anything lighter is fake! Compare males to females with blonde hair. More females have blonde because they dye it and men don't as much. So weird!
It's more common for adult women to have naturally blonde hair than men. In both sexes though, natural blondes will tend to have a relatively darker, "sandy" blonde tone, not bright yellow-blonde or white blonde.
I don't like the fake bleached platinum blonde look, personally, especially on men. I think it looks horrible.
No it is not more common. That would be genetically impossible. It is all fake! Isn't it weird?
I think it's down to hormones rather than genetics. Women tend to have slightly less melanin (chemical that darkens skin and hair) than men of the same race/nationality. It's an evolutionary benefit that aids during pregnancy, because it allows for more vitamin D and calcium production.
It is true though, most adult blondes are either fake or, if naturally blonde, then they enhance their blonde tone further. Most children who are born blonde darken with age. I was blonde until I was about 3 years old, now my hair is dark brown.
