Is it normal that i did not have an imaginary friend since i found it illogical

Is it normal as a child I never had an imaginary friend since I found it illogical. Along with this I also had a lot of identity issues and socializing problems. I would act like what I thought you were suppose to act not who I thought I was.

No, you were just one of the few children who wasn't stupid.

    • Your saying this makes me more intelligent? Well not sure if I agree with that but thank you. =)

I would act like what I thought you were suppose to act not who I thought I was.

    Now this is illogical.

    • Children are taught to behave. You learn how to act based on what you see everyone else doing. If you don't do what you told you get a spanking. So I do not see how that would not make sense to a child. Do you believe a child should be stealing and breaking things as a better option?

Or course not. So you don't listen to the voices in your head.

  • What exactly did you discover about it that was illogical?

    • What do you mean discover? Believing an invisible person is talking to you is illogical.

      • But you don't believe in them, that's why they're called an "imaginary" friends. You pretend, and to do so does not constitute an illogical process of any kind, it is fiction not error.

        • So you are saying children pretend and know its not real? So if someone hurts someone because they said they are defending their imaginary friend does that mean they are just being malicious and lying?

You say this as if it was normal for every child to have an imaginary friend. It's not. Most children still have other children as friends.

To behave like you think you're suppose to begave is also pretty common. Everyone does that, just not in the same degree. You shouldn't say or do things that hurt others, no matter if you want to or not. But you shouldn't try to impersonate someone else, either.

That's why I'm an atheist. Imaginary friends are illogical.

    • Your statement is illogical. If you are going to troll at least have something that makes sense.
