Is it normal that i cry watching my boyfriend's daughter acting in a play?

I'm wondering if people think it is normal or not that I cry as soon as I see my boyfriend's daughter step out on the stage, and cry even more if she sings in that play.

She's a teen, I've known her for a year and a half, and I have seen her in 7 plays. She's a wonderful actress and lands good roles, and I love watching her act so much. In all but one of those plays I have cried at least a little. During Peter Pan (which has always been a dear favorite since I was young) I had tears just streaming down all through the entire first act! Good thing I can cry without making noise.

I've also felt a tear or two come up a couple times during her basketball and soccer games, when she does something really well in the game.

Do you think this is normal?

You're sensitive and you love her. That's a very normal reaction. I cried the first day my nephew went to school.

Awwww, that's just so sweet. Yes it's normal, because you love her like a mother does. That means you really love your boyfriend and thinks of them as your family. That's so sweet!

Of course that's normal. Only because you're a chick though. If you were a dude, it would be weird no question. Lol.

You get guys that are sensitive like girls. It's just less common, partially because guys tend to think that they should appear strong and less emotional.
