Just want to get some suggestions/comments. I am in my early 30's, fit blah blah blah. I crave sex almost all hours. I am married for about 8 years. When we met few years prior to getting married we used to have sex about 10-13 times a day. I am still same always horny but she does not want sex that much, maybe couple times a week or so. Sometime I masturbate few minutes after I have sex. If I could I would still be up for 10+ times a day. I am always horny and know I can satisfy women needs.

    I'm sorry to hear that. You should speak to a professional, they may be able to help you. That sort of thing can totally take over your life.

    You might want to try to tone it down. Wanting sex is healthy, but if it's taking over your thoughts, and masturbation (to replace sex) is taking up all your time, that's not healthy. Maybe you're bored. Try taking up a hobby to occupy some of your head space.

      haha..very funny...you wont understand unless you are in my shoes..i have tried all 12 step group just bunch of BS...i guess all the posts i have read about people with crave for sex are sex addicts? right? or most of men with excessive desires for sex are addicts...

        I didn't mean to offend you, I thought you were seeking help and advice for your situation, but on re-reading it I see perhaps you just wanted to tell everyone how many times you can do it or how many times you want to do it.

        That's all fine, SAA is obviously not for you if you're happy with your sexuality and your needs don't adversely affect your life.

        Of course I don't think everyone, male or female, who wants lots of sex is an addict and I didn't say that, but if you don't think you are one why did you try all those 12 step groups? Or was that for other issues? I'm confused .....

        And just because they didn't meet your needs doesn't mean they're all a bunch of bullshit.

          have you tried SAA? It just comes across as you are on same boat as I am...I don't mean to say its bunch of BS just that something I don't agree with...well i tried SAA because I thought it was a problem but I don't think having more desires for sex is an addiction. Also, reading some of comments from other female members I can conclude that they are missing on something I have to offer. Have you been a sex addict? How do you know so much info on SAA?

            Yeah I went to SAA for a while after my rape counsellor suggested it. I agree, it's not the desire for sex which is an addiction, it's how, when, where & with whom it's acted on, which in my case has often been risky and dangerous. I had to stop going because the meetings were too hard to get to from where I live, but I did learn a lot about myself in the group. I just ignore all the god stuff and like all 12 step groups the jargon can be offputting: my favourite piece of idiocy is that they call abstaining from sex because you don't want to get too involved or staying home to avoid temptation being "sexually or socially anorexic".

            What didn't you "agree with"? The way the groups run, or that you weren't a sex addict for wanting a lot of sex? I thought the definition of sex addict was similar for other addictions: is it adversely affecting your life in your job, your relationships, your health, your financial situation? Who's in control, you or the addiction?

            I definitely don't believe there's anything wrong with wanting lots of sex! Go for it as long as you're not harming yourself or anyone else. Half your luck mate .... I'm being "sexually anorexic" and will probably remain so - hooray for fantasies and sex toys

    I agree with the above comments. I think you need to do more work, exercise as well. Keep yourself occupied. This unnatural sex drive can really damage your relationship. I'm a bit younger...having similar thoughts but only since I found a partner I'm very attracted to.
