Mind you, I consider them idiots, ONLY IF these people being the types who would outlaw firearms ownership for others (not enough room in the title to state that.)
This philosophy is VERY common among anti-gun types, BTW.
It's one thing to prefer death to killing someone else if you STRICTLY APPLY THAT RULE TO YOURSELF, out of, say, religious convictions. But to force that philosophy on others by means of law?
Death is an unmitigated disaster, people. You either go into oblivion - OR, much much worse - you go to a place which at best, is an eternity of no sex, no beer, no rock & roll and no fun("sin") - and that's the GOOD place (I don't need to mention the other accomodations.) If you don't deserve it, being a murder victim is the ultimate irremediable injustice! I can think of no crime more vile than forcing others BY LAW to choose this option (death) over killing a piece of filth who needs to die anyway (a thug.) And you ARE better off being prepared to resist! The thug isn't likely going to be "nicer to you" if you don't resist, statistics prove that notion is a myth!
(Anyone else think this way? Or have we become like the "Eloi" in H.G. Wells' "The Time Machine"?)

    Maybe you should consider that everyone is entitled to an opinion and morale code despite what you think of it. Instead of keeping company with civilized people try hanging out with only people that are under evolved and like violence like you do and you won't have to bother with people thinking for themselves and annoying you.

      I don't think you read my post very carefully. Or if you really consider anti-self-defense, fear-mongering busybodies to be "civilized" or "more evolved" then I feel sorry for you, I'm sure there's a nice totalitarian society out there you'd be happier living in. So why don't you move there?

    Actually, I am a liberal. And to be honest, I think old man Obama is an ok guy, but a rather innefectual president. And let's not bring up religion, that's a different story. I'm a Deist. I'll hang on while you google it...

    And no, I don't let others preach to me about anything, as you should understand by now. If you didn't get that after my first vitriolic post, I understand. However, being as this is still at least on paper, a free country, I'll feel very fine and dandy about coming on here and setting people lime you straight.

    Some people hold to a better ideal than you. It's called altruism. A selfless act. As for all that BS about gun control, you can roll your little NRA card and stuff it in your ass, pal. 99.9 percent of the retards that own guns are doing nothing but compensating for their own low sense of self worth.

    I agree with the above posters. Join the army so you can go get shot up in some make believe war for any amount of false reasons. You're just the type of red blooded apple pie eatin baseball loving flag waver that deserves to get blown up from the waste down.

      I've already done my time in the Army, and I'm too old to re-up. So much for that idea.
      Plus, the way you get to shoot in the Army is WAY too structured and it's done the same way, every time - with orders being barked at you and you only get to shoot 40 rounds usually. That's no fun! BTW, I see you're cool with killing as long as the state does it (i.e., military and police.) What's up with that, Enizzle? ALL anti-gun weenies think like that, I notice. Libtards like you are a dime a dozen.
      At least I give you credit for not making another stale dick joke ("You must be compensating for your penis size" - there's an outdated 1960s stereotype if ever there was one.)         Dude, calling names doesn't make your opinion any more substantial. USA has proven almost daily in the past 30 years what a terrible idea it is to have so much guns available for everyone. At the same time, almost every other country has proven that gun control is definitely the way to go.
        And please don't use the "protection" argument. You don't need a gun to protect yourself in a country that has no guns.

    People who say they'd rather die than take a life are lying. Everyone is capable of killing someone given the right situation. Like don't get me wrong, I hope to never be put in that situation, but if it came down to kill or be killed? I'd put a bullet in their head no hesitation.

    As for supporting violence in the military, only if it's for a reason. Unlike you and your pro gun for er president, I didn't see a reason to go into Iraq. So I hope you feel really good that the thousands of people that got barked at by officers and "only got to fire 40 rounds" and are now either dead or crippled were lead on by your very same philosophy about how cool it is to have and use a gun.

      You're a liberal. As such, you have more of a RELIGION than a political philosophy (complete with a messianic "rescuer" to worship in the person of Obama.) You also like your thinking pre-packaged, to let other people to do your thinking for you - to tell you what's right, wrong, cool - or funny even. (Let me guess, you liked clowns when you were a kid.)

        Killing is not a good thing and should never be encouraged. However if someone was held at gun point it would be a shame to not means to defend yourself. If we have gun laws or not criminals will always find a way to get them. So those without them are the ones who are in danger. You make it sound like we should all go start shooting whoever we want. So it is really stupid to go all gun happy on us. "Lets all kill a guy" is probably not a good message to send.
