Is it normal that i can't sleep without my teddy bear although i'm 28 years old

I am a 28 year old girl, and I'm studying a postgraduate course in another country (and continent). I brought my teddy bear with me and sometimes I get anxious and having it helps me. My parents divorced when I was 5 and my mom passed when I was 9, I lived my childhood with my grandma and brother and later moved out, I've gotten by fairly well since then.

We all have people, places or things that remind us of the good times.

I'm 22 and I've always had my teddy crocodile on my bed. Had him since I was 4. I hug him when I'm sad

well,in usual case i would say it's fine keep it, but u seems replacing people with ur teddy bear, and u seems attached to it. you feel unsecured about yourself which is something not good. my advice to you is that you should ask one of ur truly good friend to call you late at night and put you to sleep until you forget the need to the bear.

PS: what's your teddy bear name?
