Is it normal that i can't move my left small finger

I can't move the litte finger on my left hand, the other is completely okay and since now I just thought it was normal to have a lazy left small finger. Today I shared this statement with friends and it appeared that I was the only one in that case. Is my finger alone in this cruel ambidextrian world ?

    I can't speak for that entirely but my pinky finger on my left hand is always painful to the touch. I think it was from a manicure I got a couple years ago and she just messed up the skin growth under my nail as I can't even use that finger anymore...so annoying.
