Is it normal that i can't imagine the faces of people i know?

Most of the time I try to imagine the face of a person I know, I just can't imagine it. Some completely other person who shares some of the major traits appears. Even my family and the girl I think about quite a bit. Seems a bit odd to me. Isn't it?
