Is it normal that i can speak three languages but only type fast in english?

I am fluent in English and Chinese, and conversational in Spanish. But I can only type fast in English. I cannot type in Chinese at all. There is a special program you need to type in Chinese and I don't know how to use it. I am slow and inaccurate when it comes to Spanish. My speed is only 40-45 wpm and I don't know how to type accent marks, tildas, or upside-down exclamation/question marks. But when it comes to English, I'm a speed demon. If it's random words, I'll go 85-90. For paragraphs, I average about 90-95 and my max hovers around 110-115.

Isn't English your first language? Just practice.

English is my second language. Chinese is my first but I never learned how to use the software used to type in it.

Quite normal. I speak three languages and I type faster in english because it doesn't have accents like french.

Sounds pretty normal to me. If you get yourself a Chinese keyboard, though, it's meant to be pretty easy to be faster than English because of the very logical way characters are made of radicals and indicators.

I'd love to learn the written language. It really appeals to me.

This is really disappointing post. I was so hoping one language was Klingon and the other swahili or Smurf.

Yes, normal, I speak English, Spanish, I'm learning Japanese, German, and Serbian. It's very complicated to type in Spanish, German and Serbian. The Japanese keyboard is a romaji keyboard, so I type in the romaji and the keyboard comes up with the different kanji and I pick which one i need to use, I can type 25 WPM in Japanese, but 90-120 in English (depends in what it is)

Chinese would be super difficult with its logo-graphs and you having to construct words out of bits and pieces. Thats where Latin and Cyrillic alphabets are really easy. Russian is also quite difficult to type in, not because of the letters, but because of special punctuation, interchangeable sub-clauses and slightly curving or squaring letters can imply sarcasm or ambiguity. You spend ages pressing cntl and alt to select the correct letter type for the scenario. There can be as many as 5 letters per key which can get tiring to type in. I guess its better than having 200 keys.
