I'm black and I can braid my hair, straighten it, curl it and I know how to style an afro, but no matter how long I practice or watch videos I cannot cornrow. That means that if I want a weave I have to go to a friend or to a salon. And I can't do flat twists. And I can't do my own crochet braids (type of weave) ):.
I have troubles when I try to put my hair in a fat french braid. It rarely comes out OK and I usually fuck it up by making it over instead of under. So annoying.
I don't even think I can French braid, and I kinda wish I could, because my hair is down to my hips. It's a pain in the ass, and I have to spend double the money on dye, shampoo, conditioner and don't get
me started on deep conditioner.

I keep trying and failing :( I've resorted to a big bun since my hair has really been getting in the way lately. It gives me a headache but I'll get used to it. Better than getting shut in doors and sat or stepped on.
Luckily my hair care routine is very minimal. It's a pain in the ass as it is. I can only imagine how it is to really maintain soft and healthy hair.
I can't either on myself. I wish I could take off my head like a mannequin in beauty school. But then...how would I see it?Makeup
