Is it normal that i can’t rely on my family for proper medication i need?

I suffer from moderate to severe adhd, never been treated. Anytime I tell my parents I need medication I get laughed at or no me fully listens to me.
And now I’m looking up links on the black market, how can I voice my cries for help louder before I make any more mistakes?

Inside information:
I do not have a car or drivers license.
I do not have a job, or any money.

For your information, I have more than just ADHD. Anxiety mostly and some abuse

What exactly do you think the meds are going to do for you? A lot of times the issues add cusses can be fixed without medication. There's really no need for them and often they ruin your health. Adhd meds make patients lose weight, eat less, and become very skinny. It can also stunt height if you are not done growing.

    • I’m twenty three and already have those side effects anyways, I know medication isn’t a cure all I’ve read all about it. I know it’s up to me to do most of the work. I eat a diet that’s helpful for adhd and exercise, but I’m so damn tired of being unfocused when I want to be productive.

If you're 23, you're perfectly capable of going and getting your own diagnosis and prescription. You're not a child, so stop acting like everything is someone else's job. Take some fucking responsibility for your own life.

So why don't you have a job, car or license?
