Is it normal that i blush when people i meet online say my accent is cute?

So I have been talking to lots of people from other parts of the country, lately I have been talking to some American goth girl and we did a voice chat, just a normal voice chat about favorite bands and whatnot and after telling her where I come from she was telling me that she found my accent to be quite cute. I just don't know how I feel about these compliments so I responded with a blush and a " You're so sweet ".

Even though I sorta dislike my accent but I am used to it ( for those wondering I speak in a boring British accent nothing that special ).

    Normal because British accents are much better on the ears than American accents. Of course there are some American accents that are nicer than others but British supersedes most American accents for sure

    I hated my accent when i was a kid because I never knew I had it until about the year 2000 when i went on one of those yahoo voice chats and everyone was like dude you sound country as fuck. Everytime I went in a voice chat ppl were like dude where are you from. I tried to change it but its still there idc anymore im good with it now. I wish I never tried to get rid of it now.

      haha that’s funny, at least you have an accent! I guess I technically do also since everyone does, but mine is your basic run-of-the-mill American accent that people hear everywhere. I hear lots of different accents in my area but country accents are pretty uncommon, they stick out a lot over here lol
