Is it normal that i am losing interest in things that i used to enjoy a lot

I've been going through stress and feeling depressed over the past year and because of this, I'm losing interest in things that I used to enjoy. These things include most video games that have made a big impact on my life. It makes me sad when I look back at memories I've made with these games throughout my life. When I play those games now, it doesn't feel the same. Is it normal for me to suddenly lose interest in these things quickly

You're growing, evolving, changing. You'll find new interests. That's part of life.

It would be one thing if you were talking about how you used to play tennis all the time or go hiking and now that you suddenly don't want to do it anymore you're concerned and depressed about it. A video game? Video games stimulate the reward system just as drugs do. If you keep playing the same games you will eventually lose all the good feelings that you got with them before and you'll have to search out new games. I would suggest making some friends and going outside once in a while instead though.

Yes, it is. You've mentioned that you're depressed, which is why. Is it normal for you to loose interest in things this quickly? It is indeed.
