I'm 19 and I have been curious about what its like being high and all. I'm especially curious about acid, I would never do it though because I don't want to health risks. I never understood what could be bad about it, what happens during a "bad trip" and also how common are "bad trips"
I used to feel that about cocaine and LSD but, the urge/curiosity kind of just faded away with time.
Opiates (pain killers) are a waste of time imo. Skip those. Skip bad drugs like meth, heroin, and crack/coke forever too.
Yep it's normal. I haven't tried lsd yet so I can't recommend it for a first time drug user. Start with smoking a little bit of weed if you're curious to get you exposed to a different mind state. I highly reccomend MDMA (only pure MDMA from a trustworthy source) if you want the most amazing experience that doesn't mindfuck you. I would think acid or any other psychedelic would be a little too intense for a first time drug user. You could skip weed if you wanted to try MDMA first, the effects are a lot different. There is seriously nothing like rolling face. Drugs are only bad if you do them too often/too large of doses.
It's totally normal to be curious, and whether or not you do any drugs is your choice; bad trips, I've heard, can seem nightmarish. Apparently what's considered a "bad trip" is scary hallucinations (obviously since acid causes you to hallucinate) and negative emotions.
Bad trips aren't that common. They usually occur to people that haven't prepared themselves (by reading about it) or when they're in a place where the chance of getting problems is high. (Like when you're tripping while your mom suddenly comes home, or you're at a party and suddenly a bunch of cops decide to do "preventive searching")
