Is it normal that i alway's feel like wherever i am i should be somewhere else?

I could be in my own home, on vacation somewhere, at a relative's place, friend's house, work, school, store, etc. Anywhere. You name it. But I alway's feel like I should be somewhere else. I alway's feel far from, "home". It's like I'm a lost spirit or something. I just alway's feel like I need to be some place other than where I really am.

This makes me love the time I have in my car when I'm on my way driving somewhere. It's like my soul is searching for that long lost place I haven't yet found. IIN?

I know what you are feeling and i think its normal. Try to be in the present though. Don't think about where you are or where you feel you should be. Instead, try focusing on embracing what you are doing right now. Maybe it will ground you a bit.

Everyone wants to be somewhere else. Why? It's the hedonic treadmill. Look it up. it explains a lot

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I look out of my window and just stare at the horizon, wishing that I was out there. I love travelling, and plan to moving around when I'm older, and richer. ;)
I just look around me and see the same things that I see everyday, sometimes I stay awake at night thinking about how I want to go somewhere else. I feel like where I ma is not where I should be and just feeling just looking at the stars and feeling a breeze at night makes me wish for something else.
Mabye you should go somewhere, travel alot and see if you can find that one place that you feel at home in. You never know, mabye traveling around will make you see that you were already where you should be.

It's all about the journey, not the destination.

I don't drive but I understand what you mean. I'm happiest on trains because I'm neither where I left or yet where I am going.

I once took a holiday which was all travelling without actually really getting anywhere.
