Is it normal that i actually get sad at the fact i will never get to be a cat?

I am a huuuuge cat lover. I, and many of my friends and family members, think that I may have been a cat in a past life. A lot of the things I do my friends say remind them of a cat, and I don't really see how, I just guess I don't really notice. Well, anyways, I just really want to be a cat. I know it will never ever happen, and I will never get to know what being a cat feels like. This actually saddens me that I won't ever get to be a cat. Is this normal?

    I can honestly say I have felt the same way once. I didn't want to go to class, and saw the kitty just being all comfy and purring in the sun. Right then I wanted to be da kitty.

    I do not get veryvsad at the thought I will never be a human being. According the the definition of wikipedia: Humans are uniquely adept at utilizing systems of communication for self-expression, the exchange of ideas, and organization. Humans create complex social structures composed of many cooperating and competing groups, from families to nations. Social interactions between humans have established an extremely wide variety of values, social norms, and rituals, which together form the basis of human society.

    I don't do any of these things and when I try People kind Of do their best to keep me from doing them the way a human would. So.. Not human.
    I am a cat. A pet. A puppy with a human form.

    If you like labels, research Therianthropy. I used to think this was for people who insisted they morphed into whatever animal which is ridiculous, but it's actually people who have a deep, intense spiritual connection with a certain animal. I am similarly a cat people. I'm sure there are therianthropy forums and stuff out there - I've never looked myself.
