Is it normal that generation 5 is my favorite pokemon gen?

I love the 5th generation of Pokemon (notably Pokemon Black). It's my favorite and it was the last good one, in my opinion. I don't like nor care for gen 6. Considering how disappointing Gen VI seemed, I never played it.

I think that Gen V gets way too much hate. I think that if I had to rate the games, it would be:
Unova > Kanto > Hoenn> Johto > Sinnoh> Kalos

I'm interested to know how you would rate them.

    I'm amazed that this franchise has lasted for so long. The first ones came out in 1995.

    Of course it's normal to have a favorite version of anything that has multiple creations.

    Black and White were TERRIBLE.
    X and Y were great.
    My favorite was gen 3. Sapphire is my favorite Pokemon game.

    Idk why you're getting such a low normal percentage, but it's normal to have a favorite thing that not most people have. You may have an opinion that's different from others, but it's a harmless one so it's okay.

    Gen 5 is my favorite generation too. I noticed that most if not all of my favorite Pokemon come from Gen 5.

    (Yes, I do realize that my profile pic is not of a gen 5 Pokemon, but it fit my username, so... yeah.)
