Is it normal that every dedicated feminist is a lesbian?

Ok, i am probably exagerating on the title, but really, every dedicated feminist i know of is or have inclinations to lesbianism. I even dated a feminist a couple months ago (and took her out of left-wing [through smarts, ok people? i did not blackmailed her or anything]) and she was bi.

I dont know if it is the feminist movement that compel lesbians to join it, or the women in the movement are compeled to lesbianism, but this connection is undeniable!

LGBT people tend to be left-leaning because the Left has historically supported us more. However, with The Left going off the deep end this decade, it's putting a lot of us off. I've distanced myself from it quite a bit recently.

I've noticed everyone who claims to be "Non-binary" or some bullshit "gender identity" is a feminist. That's partly why I don't buy it at all. Saying you're "genderqueer", or just ambiguously "queer" without expressing HOW exactly you're "queer", always says more about your politics than your actual life situation.

That's what they want you to think. I've been in lgbt groups and they were segregationist biggots who wanted us all to have a little classification.

What is it if you have never had sex, and no one has ever wanted to have sex with you?

Being homosexual, bisexual or heterosexual or whatever has nothing to do with who you've had sex with or who you're in a relationship with, it's to do with which gender you're primarily attracted to.

If you are primarily attracted to the same sex, you are a homosexual. If you are primarily attracted to the opposite sex, you are a heterosexual, and if you are attracted to both men and women, you are bisexual.

If you are attracted to trans men and women too, then you are pansexual. You can be pansexual without having sex with anybody as long as you are attracted to people of all genders incuding trans people. Of course, people of all sexual orientations have types that they go for within their specific spectrum.

If you aren't attracted to anybody, you are asexual. This means that if you were to have sex with somebody, you wouldn't feel anything romantically towards them and for this reason you may find it difficult to be sociable.

I hope I cleared up most of your doubts surrounding sexuality. Thanks for the opportunity to explain it. I think it's important that people know this.

I agree mostly but I find "pansexual" a bit silly tbh.

I am attracted to transmen, but tbh I still consider that as "gay" as me being attracted to biological men. I'm still attracted to someone living physically as male and exhibiting most/all of the typical sex characteristics of a man.

I also think it's invalidating to trans people to categorise attraction to them as a separate sexuality. If my attraction to transmen isn't "gay", then that's like saying they're not really men.

You're only pansexual if you are attracted to literally every gender type, regardless of how someone classifies themselves.

I completely agree that if you like transmen and you are a man, that's as homosexual as being attracted to a person who was born a man and remains a man.

I wasn't trying to invalidate gender types at all. Please don't put words in my mouth.

Truly. It's become all about labels and identity politics, and frankly I think it's redundant now any. It's levelled out, we have equality and respect from most people in The West.

I only consider you a genuine LGBT activist (or feminist) these days if you have the balls to take on other cultures (Islam urgently, but not exclusively) on their bigotry. If you don't, you just like virtue signalling to look progressive, and it's fake.

I don't think that's true. It's may be true of the hardcore feminists. But most women who claim to be feminists are not hardcore. Most just claim to be feminists because they think they need to be as part of the sisterhood, but they have no idea what feminism really is.

  • It's because gender is the new cool in these groups. They treat gender like a pity currency, or atleast a large portion do. Ofcourse they're going to find new ways to alter their identity so that they could cash in on the "special" status.

Feminists are not all women. Men can be feminists. A feminist is not someone who thinks women are superior, a feminist is someone who believes men and women are EQUAL and they deserve to be treated equally. So no. I'm not a lesbian. Male feminists aren't lesbians.

that is the thing why i dont support feminism in its roots.
Men and women are not equal. They are different, physically and mentally. Each have their standard behaviour and way of seeing life. You cant make men think as women and make women think has men. It will mess up society entirely!

It's probably they feel insecure about themselves ever getting a guy, low self-esteem, or develop hate towards men, and thats what drives them towards feminism.

You're right there's a definite connection. I'm not trying to be a dick, but I'd like to know the actual numbers. Definitely seems like a high percentage of extreme feminists are lesbians.
Maybe it's just as simple as jtkirkfan2002 said, since they all hate men logically they have relationships with women.
I don't know if the chicken or the egg comes first, but it's probably a bit of both, imo. Being a full-on, 100% lesbian makes them more likely to hate men, and hating men makes them more likely to be a hardcore lesbian.

  • I’m a feminist but I’m not a lesbian. I might have lesbian thoughts sometimes but I’m still attracted to certain guys.
And no, feminism is not hatred towards men. It means believing that men and women should be treated equally.

There is definitely two definitions of feminism. The nice ones like you describe and the far left man haters that are trying to sidetrack the movement.

Some women are man haters. It's stupid and a pretty tiny portion of the population. It's nothing to be concerned with. Most women I know love men.

And what could end this whole thing is if the man haters would understand most men love women.

And for the record I am straight, (although I do support the LGBTQQIAAP community, ((many letters)) )

not wanting to be a dick, but feminism have only fucked you women. In its very beginning it did not gave you the RIGHT to work, it took off your right to NOT WORK. Also, funny enough, the one thing that gave more freedom for women in the hole world was christianity, those LGBT community continuously disrespects.
