Is it normal that eating dark chocolate gives me a bad stomach?

When I eat dark chocolate, >70%, which is said to be healthy, my digestion goes bad.

Sometimes I can get away with eating a little bit, around 10 grams, but sometimes any small amount gives me trouble.

I can eat dark chocolate with no digestive issues. 16
I can not eat much dark chocolate without digestive issues. 9
I haven't eaten dark chocolate. 1

I work in a chocolate shop so I hear a lot of people have issues with chocolate for different reasons.
Some people are sensitive to the cocoa, which is probably your issue. Some people are sensitive to the milk in milk chocolate, some get migraines, stomach upset etc. Id try regular milk chocolate(lets be honest its a treat not a health food so you may as well enjoy it if youre going to eat it).
I only wish chocolate would make me sick. lol.

Depends on a person, it seems to be normal to be intolerant of some things... It probably depends on your diet. For example, if I don't eat/drink a lot of dairy for a long time, it will cause a bad indigestion when I eat/drink something like that for the first time in a while, so it also depends on what you're used to eating. Don't worry, and if you feel bad that you can't eat a lot of dark chocolate, just talk to a doctor.

I'm the opposite. My favorite's dark cause it's not too sweet. White normally gives me headaches or stomachaches...
