Is it normal that black people think that everyone's racist..?

Is it normal to think that?? Because whenever a white person were to go up to a black person(or any other race for that matter) and say something mean, they would just automatically assume that they are racist, with no regard to why they said it in the first place.

BTW, I am not racist. It's just my opinion. *shrug*

There's a lot of ignorance about racism all round. Most people aren't even actually sure exactly what it is.

Black people are just tired of always being the subject of stereotyping so that's why they feel like it's racism, maybe if other races walked in their shoes they would understand.

Soooo true. Every minority has a chip on the shoulder and thinks that they can do what the fuck they want because if anyone says other wise its racist. Ive been black people arrested for drug dealing on to say the cops are picking on him cause hes black. No its cause your a fucking drug dealer. I think they should get over themselves and stop making such a big deal of their race. Their the only ones that care

Who knows? Sometimes, when a white person is mean to a black person, it really is racism. But perhaps they just don't like each other. Where I grew up, we were taught that racism was a white person saying something unkind to a minority. That meant that, from my viewpoint, if I didn't like an African-American, I was racist. Racism is a lot more complicated than a lot of people would like to think. Some minorities are overly sensitive, and see racism in everything a white person does. But some whites actually are racist. It's complicated.

    Ignorance comes in every color.

That being said, I know what you mean. But look at Bill Cosby, he's black and is all the time telling other black people that they need to stop blaming whitie. I don't think it's a race thing. I think it's just what we choose to notice, like it drives me crazy when a black person constantly demands a hand out because of the man keeping him down. So I notice that all the time. But other things don't drive me as crazy, like people of any color just being people. Do you know what I mean?

Some black people do find racism in all and everything. I've been around a couple of them where there was no way to not be racist as a white man. They demanded more from a white person to be considered not racist than they would ever ask of themselves really.

It's not all of them though.

I know what you mean. I am black and i am not racist. i think that my facebook racial split is like 50/50 LOL.

Some black people are more sensitive to racism than others. Unfortunately EVERYTHING is a conspiracy theory to them and its really annoying to be around. I hate that because they always ask me " did you notice this?" "did you notiece that?" and I totally dont see it the way that they do. It can be as simple as a white person saying that they have a taste for watermelon and the black person who is sensitive goes bizerk as if white people dont like watermelon.

On the flip side, i believe that there are a lot of white and black racist people period. I work in sales and i love my job. My territory is primarily suburban however i have a portion of my territory where there is an enormous middle eastern influence. It is amazing to me when a white co worker will make a comment about hating to deal with Arabs to me. The first thing i think is I wonder if he hates dealing with blacks as well?

All in all, people are going to do what they are going to do. there are stereotypes about every race that have truth to them. For instance, I love watermelon and fried chicken with hot sauce LOL. I once had a white manager though who loved soul food. we developed a close relationship and could talk freely amongst each other. When i got promoted and it was my last day, he took me out to lunch. His wife and daughter met us there. He said something to me that will stick with me forever. He said " i know that i can say and have said just about everything to you. I wanted to tell you that when i first found out that you were going to be working for me i was nervous. I previously had really really bad experiences working with black people and specifically black men. You have helped me out so much in that area by being open to dialogue and i have tremendous respect for you. " I say that to say that for there to be progress, everyone has to be open minded and committed to making a difference.

Well, usually when I was around black men who talked that way, I would just ask to change the subject and we would end up getting along fine. It's a habit, they have grown accustomed to looking for racism in all and everything. They surely didn't hate me enough, as a white man, to not have a good conversation with me anyway.

I see it much as feminists who have grown the habit of seeing sexism everywhere. Sometimes it's unwarranted but women's rights would have never advanced so much without that attitude.

I had a black friend who was racist of black people and always hung out with white people; mostly.

Everybody is individualistic no matter the race. It's not good to generalize.

Black people act like every one of other races owe them something. There isn't a person I know personally that ever owned a slave but they act like I use to keep them on my plantation. I get joy in knowing that as a white man I have superior intellect to blacks. They are a very stupid breed.

You are a sad pathetic racist. And for your information there are plenty of blacks in the country who are much smarter and more successful than 99% of white people.
