Is it normal that after 15 years together and 5 kids that i want a divorce?

We have been together sense I was 15, him 21. Married for 10 years. The past 2 years We've lived apart due to his job. We see each other maybe 5 days a month. He has done somethings like gone to strip clubs, parties, bars, while away and "working" while I'm home being a good little wife and mom of 5 kids! I don't trust him, He has always been Extremely neglectful as a Husband and a father and he even admits he does and never tries to change his ways, even when we did live together.

  • get legal advice as the first step protect assets, work out the finances so you can survive with the kids, plan what you want/need to do workwise or traning, research these things. keep your plans to yourself and start the ball rolling. do not involve him in your plans or you might be railroaded, you are lucky in a way you have had to get by without him so yr half way there , goodluck

YOU MUST TELL HIM before you drop him like a hot potato. Even a horrible cad should be warned - "ONE MORE TIME OF _____ AND IM LEAVING"

    Even make him sign it.

Just dont surprise him. He could be so lost in his own troublesome thoughts that he doesnt realize the effect his awful words and actions have on you

Please warn him one last time, when everyone is calm

Yeah I think you should leave him, its not fair to you & your children.
Divorce sucks, my dad left us after 26 years so I know how it is from the kids point, even if technically I'm an adult. It makes you a stronger person though, honestly.

I'm sorry you have to go through this :(
I hope you find happiness soon with whatever decision you make. Good luck!
