Is it normal that a nutritional deficiency made me think that i was trans?

Ever since I was young, I displayed signs of being transgender. I thought quite recently that I was transgender. That is until, I started to increase the dose of a nutritionally dense supplement I take. Since doing this I have realised that I am not trans. I'm not cisgender either, but that's beside the point.

Is there a link to being transgender and having nutritional deficiencies or is my case a fluke?

I mean no offense to anyone that is Trans on here. IIN?

Lol this reminds me of someone who in 10th grade, had hormonal imbalances and when he started supplementing, his gay went away. I know that sounds crazy but it did. He was full-blown gay up until 10th grade and he even dated men up until 10th grade! I don't think anyone will forget that. He was a cool guy too and I remember later reading his Myspace blogs about how he was actually gay but then once he supplemented, he started getting attracted to women. :P He's married now to a girl and they have a son together. REALLY CRAZY how he dated Chad in the 9th grade which was not really that long ago. They made out in the halls and everything and Chad is now engaged to a guy so he's still gay. :P

I think of it as something that is inborn, if someone is transgender. That doesn't rule out that diet can cause some fluctuations in feelings of gender, since diet has influence on sex-hormone balance.

Comparing it to sexuality, I also think of it as determined before birth whether someone is homosexual or heterosexual, yet there bisexual people who experience that their preference or direction of sexuality oscillates/varies over time.

I think it may be more of a general imbalance. If eating a different quantity of vitamins have given you a sense of balance, yay! However I don't believe how that imbalance manofests itself is indicative of anything deeper. Food regulates hormone levels and perhaps you weren't getting the proper ones for sexual development. That is actually quite common, but often as an overdose, not deficiency. Maybe you are experiencing the flip side of that coin? Just a theory. I'm no expert.

Good luck in your journey to self discovery.

Probably. Gender dysphoria happens in your brain.

I don't know, it's possible I think. Doesn't mean every trans person is automatically deficient

You were never trans to begin with. You're just a victim of your poisonous liberal culture.

Your? If you live in America, wouldn't that expose you to liberal culture too? Besides, when I was growing up, liberalism was no where near as big as it is now. The culture was very different then.

  • Transgender as male to female or female to male? Whatever it is I would consider consulting an endocrinologist as well. Hormones can be tricky sobs.

I thought that I was FtM. How do they check for hormone levels? If it is needle and blood extracting related, I think that I will have to pass.

      • I think it almost certainly would involve that. It would probably be beneficial to get it checked, almost certainly worth getting past a fear of needles. All you've got to lose is your confusion, that's worth it to me.
