Is it normal that a mom is buying crappy food for her kid to save money

She gets all the cheap versions of what I told her to get. Because for example I ask for the good frozen burritos and she gets the ones that are 30 cents cheaper but end up being all dough and almost no meat. She just doesnt seem to care about me at all and I think she wants me to die.
