Is it normal that a friend dreams about you and thinks about u all day?

So at school my friend Chris always looks at me when I'm not looking. I kinda feel uncomfortable. But his friends tell me that he feels like he's in darkness whenever I'm not there in school. But my thing is that I don't want to break a friendship that will soon be dust....

He's got a thing for you. It's up to you whether you act on it or not

If you do like him, I believe that you could make it work. Sure, sometimes friendships get damaged when it doesn't work out, but the best kind of relationship you can be in is one with your best friend who you can share anything with, and be friends with, while also having that wonderful connection.

It's normal, he definitely likes you, and the reason he is so shy about it is because he also values your friendship and doesn't want lose that. I recently confessed to a girl I was close friends with, and she was so against the idea that it messed up our friendship. We didn't talk much anymore, and even though we made things right we still rarely talk. So you shouldn't avoid him. If you don't like him, you could just tell him that you just want to be friends before things get back. You don't have to quit being friends with someone just because they might have feelings for you. That's hurtful.

Not love, but infatuation. You need to establish some boundaries with him, for you own comfort.

Honey, he's not your friend! He's your love interest.
Going out with a friend, then possibly breaking up only ruins the friendship if you let it. Don't let yourself believe that stereotype. If you're both mature people, and you do happen to break up, just say "Hey that was fun, but I see no reason as to why we can't still be close. Let's get over it and start a new."

He is clearly in love with you, you should probably confront him.
