Is it normal that a 20 year old girl made her father eat her food?

I was at a family party, and my 20 year old cousin had a plate of food, but she took more than she could eat, so she told her father that she couldn't eat any more but she didn't want to throw it away, so her father decided to eat her leftovers. I thought it was kind of weird.

Nothing wrong with that, and it sounds like he chose to do it rather than being made to, I've eaten my share of leftovers, of course that may be why I used to be fat and am still chubby even after loosing all this weight

why is that weird? its normal for family to share food. if we all get something different we have tried food from each others plates.
i have gotten full and given my left overs away. i have eaten my bothers/moms/bfs/daughters left overs. and so on.

This is actually very normal. My family and I do this with our food all the time.

My family and I always trade different parts of our dinners. For example, I'll trade my dad his shrimp for my salmon, or give my pizza crusts or garlic bread crusts to my mom (she really loves crusts for some reason)

One of my family members has done this before just to please me. I got angry with my sister for wasting food so in order to get us to stop fighting, she volunteered to eat it. Some people actually love to just eat and some people do it to please others.
