Is it normal that.. i just agreed to a date with a much younger woman?

I just agreed to a date, and, likely, sex, with a very hot, beautiful, blonde with great smile, young mom woman who's 20 years younger than me. Damn, she was born 2 years after I finished college!

Yet, she's beautiful, a young mom (which did go through my mind during our conversation), and actively pursued me, not the other way around. Can't lie and say I never looked at her with interest, but, also never thought she'd be the one to contact and pursue me.

Is it normal for me to remain interested, plan on going through with it, but maybe have a hint of second thought? It's a new world, and dating is so wide-open with everyone, I don't want to limit myself or miss out on a sweet, hot, young woman, but also don't want to be seen as creepy guy with the young woman..

    It's completely normal. My husband is 28 years older than I am, I have 2 step kids and we have a 3 year old together. Honestly I think we have a stronger and better relationship than the 2 relationships I had with guys closer to my own age because we are able to have real conversations, plus he was a lot more respectful and polite while we were dating. The guys my own age only wanted to talk about sports, sex and my chest whereas my husband actually took the time to get to know me before the first time sex even came up 2 months into us dating and I was actually the one who started that one with a rather suggestive email.

    I say go for it with her and see where things go

      I've met some very mature, level-headed younger women who've been miles above women my own age or older. True, some show their youth and lack of experience, but that's also what I'm there for, to help them learn things while also being a partner.

      Will keep this brief: Stopped off at Ruby Tuesday's one night after a work appointment on the road. Sat at the bar, had dinner, drink. Beautiful, professional-looking blonde woman sat next to me, ordered the same dinner, and we start chatting. Went so well that my manager friend who works there gave me the semi-joking thumbs-up. Conversation great, we laughed, and shared similar work background. Woman says finish up and we'll go. I'm feeling pretty good. Go outside and I ask how old she was: 23. We ended up having a wonderful night together, 20+ year age difference be damned. Just goes to show, age really doesn't matter.

        That's kinda how me and my husband met. He was just back from a business trip and I didn't feel like cooking one night and what was supposed to be a quick dinner and a glass of wine ended up being 3 glasses of wine and some of the best conversation I have ever had in my life. I'm honestly glad that I went to that Applebee's that night because now not a day goes by that I'm not reminded of why I love him so much, even if he and my dad are a year and a half apart in age, my husband being the older of the two lol.

          It really was a fun night, not just talking about the sex. I enjoyed her company, she was smart, more mature than 23, and to be honest..I got past the age thing minutes after she said it.

          When I went back a few weeks later, my manager friend asked what happened. I told her, and she said "I was rooting for you".

    Follow-Up: Did have a good night with her, found out her son is autistic and she goes to great lengths to take care of him. I was impressed with her maturity and responsibility. Isn't out for money from guys, only a brief break from her jobs and kid duties, a little reminder that she's still a woman and desirable.

    We talked about her son, books, our families..And not once did she mention money or need. Even if this doesn't go any further, i.e.-sexually, I'm fine with having made a new friend. She's probably more level-headed than women twice her age. Speaking of which, the age thing didn't come up during conversation, either.

    You sound like a chump who's about to get used for his cash. Dating moms—young or otherwise—is rarely a good idea. She's already made some bad life decisions, and she's more than willing to have you foot the bill.

      Not a chump, actually pretty intelligent and, if anything..Play their game to get what I want. Doesn't mean I don't feel bad about it sometimes, I do. My point on this one was, she's the one who pursued me, not the other way around.

      Has she made some bad choices? Sure. Doesn't mean I can't have some/my fun with her, correct? I've dated moms before, and do well with kids in general. Maybe one or two had kids I wanted no part of. And, I don't do the money thing. Have had several ask, and the answer is always..No.

        You speak of game, but the way you described her and the fact you felt the need to ask IIN tells otherwise. You're an old guy so I don't need to lecture you, but if you're a nice guy as well, I strongly recommend you read "No More Mr. Nice Guy".

          I never said anything about "having game", nor do I think I have it. And I only asked on this site for additional input and a bit of fun. My mind is pretty much made up on this subject. Oh, and I'n not an old guy. Even I'll admit, for being in my 40s, I look much younger. Good genes, I guess. Apparently, since I can get younger women like this one (maybe I do "have game")?..
